The Roku player is very swiftly becoming a favorite in the world of digital media. When it was created the main purpose of it was to allow someone else interface for Netflix users to access their movies. Since Netflix is one if not the biggest movie seeder out there it only made sense. It became more of a weapon when other streaming media was added to the box.
Not to mention that when the customary was created it didn't allow for an Hd connection. It also wasn't wireless, you had to see all the wires and it made for a huge mess of wires. Since then the staff and makers of Roku have added so much to this tiny box. It is about the size of a paperback book. It is as long as a dollar bill.

How crazy is it to have a streaming media player that is probably the cheapest tool out there and is small, transported and lightweight. Gone are the days of big boom box's and Vcr's. Today's electronics are the iPod's or other music media players and Dvd players which have supplanted the big bulky Vcr's. How cool would that be if you could stream all your media all from one place? How about if you didn't have a media player to play Netflix on and wait for the movies in the mail you couldn't watch them instantly?
That saves so much time and power for you to do other things. The Roku house of players were made to make viewing and listening to your streaming media fast and easy. You can watch your Netflix movies and listen to your favorite and newest music using the Pandora feature. For those of you who love to listen to your own iPod play list there is Apple.Tv. For you baseball fans like my husband than you will love the Mlb.Tv channel. Some of the channels you have to pay a subscription to.
It all goes back though to the fact that you cold do this all from one place. The Roku player even lets you watch you favorite shows. It's the exquisite addition to a home that has distinct population who watch distinct things. I can watch my favorite shows and my kids can watch their favorite kids shows.
The Roku player has been a great addition to the house of electronics that we already own.
